Support Us

As you can imagine, restoring original First World War barrack huts is not cheap, and we rely on donations no matter how small. There are a number of ways you can donate to the Great War Huts project listed below.

Alternatively, your support is always appreciated by attending our events, liking our Facebook page, subscribing to our YouTube channel, or by following us on Twitter or Instagram!

Materials

The team at Great War Huts often require materials to continue the work on the huts they are restoring.
If you have any materials that you no longer require, then please consider donating them to Great War Huts.
Talk to us about what materials we currently require - we get through plenty of timber, screws, nails and

wood preservative!

PayPal

You can donate to the Great War Huts project by PayPal, cheque or bank transfer.

Donations are always very welcome, no matter how small - every little bit helps towards the purchase of materials.

Follow the link below to find out more about donating with PayPal, cheques or bank transfers.

Easy Fundraising

EasyFundraising turns your everyday online shopping into donations for our cause, at no cost to you. How? Just visit your favourite retailers through the EasyFundraising website and the shop as normal. Once you’ve made a purchase the retailer will then make a small donation to our cause to say “thank you”!

We are incredibly grateful to Great War enthusiast and writer, Carole Hope, who is donating part of the proceeds from the sale of her second book,

'Frank Speaking', to Great War Huts.

'Frank Speaking' relates to the unfinished First World War memoir of Royal Dublin Fusilier Officer, Francis Morrow Laird, which Carole transcribed. She added context and also narrative to finish his story, by reference to Battalion war diaries and other primary sources.

If you would like to purchase a copy, you can email Carole directly by clicking the button below. 'Frank Speaking' is £23.50 including P&P.
