As we reflect on the sacrifices made by those who served in the First World War, it's imperative that we honour their memory by preserving the tangible remnants of their experiences. These barrack huts, weathered by time yet brimming with historical significance, serve as poignant reminders of the courage and resilience displayed by our forebears.

By donating to the restoration efforts, you're not just contributing to the physical upkeep of these structures; you're investing in the preservation of our collective heritage, ensuring that future generations can connect with the past and appreciate the sacrifices made for the freedoms we enjoy today.

Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to safeguarding these vital pieces of history for posterity. Join us in this noble endeavor, and let's ensure that the stories of valor and sacrifice housed within these hallowed walls continue to inspire and educate for years to come.

Materials

The team at Great War Huts often require materials to continue the work on the huts they are restoring.
If you have any materials that you no longer require, then please consider donating them to Great War Huts.
Talk to us about what materials we currently require - we get through plenty of timber, screws, nails and

wood preservative!

PayPal

You can donate to the Great War Huts project by PayPal, cheque or bank transfer.

Donations are always very welcome, no matter how small - every little bit helps towards the purchase of materials.
