About the event
Annual Hut Day is an event held at Brook Farm Camp to celebrate the many thousands of temporary wooden buildings erected during the First World War - especially those that still survive over a century later!
Since 2014, the Great War Huts project has been dismantling different examples of these buildings from across the country and bringing them back here to Suffolk to restore to their former glory. Our last Hut Day was held in 2019 and we have made significant progress since then. This is your opportunity to come and take a tour of the site at Brook Farm Camp, see how the camp is developing and hear the history of these fascinating buildings.
Join us for a tour of the site at 2pm - tickets are free, but must be booked in advance!
