Hutted Histories: Kit for the Commissioned; the Great War British Officer

The uniform and equipment of the ordinary British soldier is regularly covered and very well known. However, nearly 250,000 British Officers were commissioned during the First World War and their kit is rarely discussed.

In this talk, Taff covers the development of those uniforms, equipment and weapons, using original items from the Great War Huts Collection, and with two Officers to demonstrate the kit.
