Make a date in your diaries on the 4th Wednesday of each month at 7:30pm for the new series of ‘Hutted Histories’ talks at Great War Huts! We have invited top speakers to take part in this new series of talks covering a wide range of military history subjects.
In August 1914 the entire British Army Mobilized for war. It is easy to underestimate what an extraordinary undertaking this was. In a new talk, Taff Gillingham explains the process in some detail, using 2nd Battalion the Suffolk Regiment as his example, and uncovers some surprising facts along the way.
Tickets are £5 and can be bought online or on the door - refreshments are also available.
Doors open at 7pm for a 7:30pm start. Talks last approximately an hour, followed by the opportunity to ask the speaker a question!
