About the event
Experience a journey through First World War trenches by twilight, while discovering the true story of the 1914 Christmas Truce, with Taff Gillingham, one of the leading experts on the event.
We are holding lantern-lit tours through our new trench system, where you can learn about the famous Christmas Truce.
Following the tour, we return to the original recreation hut where you can enjoy a hot drink and a mince pie, with the opportunity to ask questions about the Truce or any other aspect of the First World War.
Tickets include 1 free glass of mulled wine (or non alcoholic equivalent!) and a mince pie.
Sensible footwear advised. Please wrap up warm!
